Week two of food and beverage ( 07 June- 12 June 2011)

Conference  
  • Prepared for conference , took all the  crockery out to the boma area and cleaned the surfaces at the boma.
  • Made the fire at the area where the food was prepared and made a bomb fire inside the boma  
  • Worked behind the bar and surfed people drinks and cocktails
Logbooks and workbooks 
  • We worked on our workbooks and logbooks and showed it to the business unit manager
Welcoming
  • Moped the porch and cleaned all the tables in front of the restaurant
  •  Cleaned the welcoming area and lighted the fire in a conca in front of yhe welcoming stand
Restaurant
  • Moped the porch at the pool area in front of the restaurant
  • Prepared the ‘boeremark’ by taking out tables and chairs
  • Worked at ‘boeremark’ , I sold coffee and freshly baked bread to the guests.
  • Repacked the fridge and did stock counting
  • Packed more drinks into the bar fridge 
  • Waitered at the pool area
  • Repacked ice into the fridge and into the bar ice bucket

Food and beverage week one ( 31 May – 05 June )


Conference
  • Cleaned inside the conference room
  • Cleaned behind the conference room and sorted out all the documents
  • Cleaned the tables and chairs
  • Packed the tables and chairs in a very neat way
  • Cleaned the white writing bored
  • Packed all the crockery out and made up the tables for the conference
  •  Packed lunch for the conference
  • Prepared the cups and sorceress
  • Prepared the tee time with snacks
Welcoming
  • Prepared for welcoming , took tables and chairs out for welcoming
  • Welcomed the guests at welcoming and offered them wine or juice 

Week three of chefing (16 Mei – 19 Mei )



AFFAL
  • Learned how to clean affal and how to take out all the stuff that is not good to eat
  • Learned how to cook affal and witch spices to cook affal in
  • We all tasted the affal and now I know how the different parts of affal tastes like

Week two of chefing (09 Mei -15 Mei )



MAIN KITCHEN

  •  Made a Greek salad for the students lunch
  • Prepared food that we made at tambuki staff dinne
  •  Packed all the different foods into different containers depending on the food type.
  • Prepared pancake dough for pancakes
  • Made pancakes for the welcoming stand
  • Braied meat for fleisfreters
  • Told people about the food that we prepared for fleisfreters
  • Cleaned all the equipment we used for fleisfreters
  • Learned how to make a sole and calamari dish
  • Sweeper and moped the kitchen after using is
Tambuki
  • Prepared food at the staff dinner
  •   Prepared the students food at tambuki
  • Cleaned all the equipment after using it

(02 June – 08 June ) Week one of chefing

Academy
  • I got my uniform and collected my chefing papers

Cleaning
  • Washed all the plates , knifes and forks in the kitchen
  • Washed all the cupboards
  • Cleaned the gas stoves
  • I deep cleaned a section of the kitchen
  • I moved all the equipment and cleaned from op to bottom
       Safety at work
  • Learned all about the different chemicals and how they are used in the work place.
  •  Learned all the different equipment and what they are used for
Boiling
  • I learned how to make a vegetable soup
Learned about knife skills
  • Learned how to work with a knife and how to do all the different cutting methods

Week nine of sondela share block (18 April -24 April 2011)



Chalet
·        Deap cleaned a chalet and dusted , moped and wiped the cupboards

Test
·        Wrote a test and learned how to prepare for the test
Projects
·        Did a projects on chemicals and cleaning equipment

  • ·        Dusted a chalet

  • ·        Sweeped and moped the floor
Theory 

  • Did a project on health  and safety
  •   Took pictures on problems on what was wrong around the workplace
  •  Wrote the problems an solutions of the pictures
  • Wrote notes on pictures on how to make a bed and how to clean a bathroom
  • Did a task on how to clean a living room
Guest service
  •  Welcomed the guests at there chalet and asked if there were any problems at there chalet
  •    Delivered a baby carriage
Filling
  • Filled the chalets papers
  •   Packed away the files
